I originally started this blog as a way to start writing a book I have in mind: Tools from the Shed: a Modern Mystic Shares His Spiritual Practices, but I have come to realize that what I want to do instead is foster online the dialogue about spiritual life that I find so rewarding in person.  To that end, I am sharing my day-to-day experiences and spiritual challenges and encouraging readers to share theirs.

And maybe there will be such a book in my future, and maybe not.  But in the meantime, I hope to have many enriching conversations.
